La familia que decidió cortar las cables en la huerta de Murcia en mayo de 2015 sigue completamente satisfecha

Se puede vivir sin pagar el recibo de la luz. Ya os conté aquí en mayo del año pasado que una familia que vive en plena huerta de Murcia (Llano de Brujas) había decidido cortar los cables para autoabastecerse con placas solares, y hoy os confirmo que, un año después, la experiencia no solo ha sido posible sino más que recomendable, según el propietario de esta vivienda 100% sostenible. Lo ha recordado la Compañía Regional de Energía Solar (CRES), que prestó su asesoramiento en esta aventura de romper la dependencia de las compañías eléctricas.

«Fue una gran decisión ya que, tras hablar con nuestra compañía eléctrica, que no dejó de ponernos problemas para aumentar la potencia que necesitábamos argumentando que nuestra vivienda quedaba demasiado apartada de su campo de red, la única solución que nos daba era que construyéramos una línea de 7 postes y 800 metros de cable”, explica el propietario de la casa, un holandés afincado en la Región. “Una decisión”, continúa, “que nos hubiera costado más de 10.000 euros y encima, habría pasado a ser propiedad de la compañía y no nuestra”.

La instalación fotovoltaica tiene ocho kilowatios, con una capacidad de producción de hasta 14.000 al año, lo que hace posible la amortización en un periodo de entre ocho y doce años, dependiendo de la variación en la tarifa eléctrica. La vivienda ahorrará hasta 243.710,49 euros a lo largo de la vida útil de la instalación, estimada en unos 25 años, señala CRES, que recuerda que ésta es la opción del autoconsumo que requiere de una mayor inversión, «ya que esta vivienda llegó a desconectarse totalmente a la red».

El sistema instalado, AOSS (Always Ongoing Sufficiency System), costó 37.510 euros y logrará una reducción de 9.139,65 Kg de emisiones contaminantes de C02.
